Simulation of the Pressure-Sensitive Seepage Fracture Network in Oil Reservoirs with Multi-Group Fractures

Stress sensitivity is a very important index to understand the seepage characteristics of reservoir. In this study, dedicated experiments and theoretical arguments based on visualization porous media are used assess effects fracture angle, spacing, relevant elastic parameters principal value permeability tensor. The apertures at different angles show change rates, which influence relative for sets fractures. Furthermore, under same pressure condition, fractures with degrees deformation so that direction rotates. This phenomenon leads variation in water typical water-injection applications, thereby hindering expected exploitation effect original well network. Overall, research findings paper can be as guidance improve effectiveness injection oil field industry.
